The Oilers Plan to get Jack Campbell Back on Track
Jack Campbell's Continued Struggle Throughout 2023/2024
Edmonton Oilers goaltender Jack Campbell has put forth some less than stellar performances since being sent down to the AHL. Having struggled immensely in the first quarter of the NHL season, the Oilers were hopeful a stint in the minors would help their supposed starter get his groove back. Unfortunately, things have not gone according to plan for Campbell.Jack Campbell's game recently in the Minors
When Jack Campbell's game had declined back in October, the Edmonton Oilers coaching staff assigned him to Bakersfield of the AHL. Although Campbell has had a few good outings with the Condors, he has failed to live up to his full potential and does not seem ready to return the Oilers lineup just yet.
Through 7 games with the Condors, Campbell has posted a 3.28 GAA and a 0.893 SV %. These stats will need to drastically improve if Campbell hopes to rejoin the Oilers this season.
