Public enemy number one Sam Bennett has tied the game against the Boston Bruins in the Florida Panthers versus Bruins Stanley Cup Playoffs Series. Although, the goal should've been called back for goaltender interference.
Boston Bruins fans might have their pitchforks out for the black and white striped jerseys after San Bennett blatantly cross-checked Charlie Coyle into Jeremy Swayman leading to a goal.Boston head coach Jim Montgomery should've had a lock and sent his team back to a 2-1 lead after a coach's challenge for goaltender interference, but somehow, the referees deemed it a good goal. Bruins fans in TD Garden had their jaws hitting the floor worse when they saw beer prices being close to $20.

It is absolutely mind-blowing that Rule 69 was blatantly ignored in this case, Swayman clearly cannot get back into position caused by a Florida Panther attacker. It's not a goal and the on-ice officials know it.
On the ensuing power play, the Panthers scored again and got the go-ahead goal to lead 3-2. The momentum had shifted right into Florida's favour and they took full advantage of it.
If the NHL wants a tamer Stanley Cup Playoffs series, get your referees in check. It's been brutal in the entire Stanley Cup Playoffs. Something has to change and this series should be the reason change is made.
