BREAKING: Sidney Crosby Almost Involved in a Dangerous Skate-to-Neck Incident

Fans held their breath watching tonight's Habs vs Pens game as Sidney Crosby almost got Kaiden Guhle with his skate as he fell down. A video of the incident can be found below!





Thankfully Guhle was alright, although a bit shaken up. This is an example of how easily these kind of accidents can happen. NHL Players move so fast, it's possible for freak accidents to happen at any time.

Crosby is not a reckless player whatsoever, and i'm sure he's thankful that no major injury occurred.

Incidents like this further prove just how important neck protection is for hockey players, and why I think it should be mandatory.
