What this Injury means for the Penguins
The loss of Smith will be a difficult one as he plays an important role in the Penguins top 6. As they continue their quest for a playoff spot, they may look to make an acquisition to replace him if the injury is severe. Alternatively, they could look for someone else to step up and fill his shoes.
