The Penguins goalie tandem have had a great start to the year posting up great numbers. Jarry, currently has .913 save percentage in the 2023-24 season. 2024 hasn't been treating the BC native right after conceding 4 goals in the first period vs the Washington Capitals.

Goaltending Consistency is key, especially in the last stretch...

This isn't old news... the 28 year old had a rough start in 2023 putting up a .850 save percentage as of January 1st, 2023. The Penguins went on to miss the playoffs that season for the first time since 2005-2006. As the netminder puts up more games, it appears fatigue begins to settle in...

The Pittsburgh Penguins Playoff hopes are on thin ice

The Penguins netminders have to find their groove as soon as possible and form a level of consistency to have a shot at seeing the ice in the postseason. They sit 7th in the Metropolitan division and 10th in the Eastern Conference two points out of a wildcard. Shall the Penguins balance the workload amongst Alex Nedeljkovic and Tristan Jarry.. similar to the Boston Bruins? Boston Bruins goalie tandem Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman have split their games at 19 games each allowing them to have peak performance.

Respectfully, the Vezina winner is averaging a .916 save percentage while Jeremy Swayman is averaging a .922 save percentage. The Boston Bruins sit 1st in the Atlantic and 4th in the National Hockey League. via (TheScore).

Maybe the Penguins should take some notes from the reigning President's Trophy Winners....
