Former Penguin Scores Beauty Goal for his New Squad

Jason Zucker's Time in Pittsburgh

Jason Zucker came to Pittsburgh midway through the 2019-2020 NHL season coming over from Minnesota, where he played his entire career up until then. He was a significant piece in the Penguins top 6 up until last season, and he is surely missed by the Penguins faithful.

Zucker, 32 signed in the off-season with the Arizona Coyotes and has played well for them so far posting 15 points in 34 games. Tonight he scored a beauty goal assisted by Pittsburgh native Logan Cooley, it can be found below.





Zucker's Replacement



One of the main reasons that Reilly Smith was brought in to Pittsburgh was for him to slot in on the second line and fill the gap that Zucker left, so far he has been unable to do so due to immense injury trouble and inconsistency.

Many Penguins fans were sad to see Zucker go, but will look forward to watching him play anytime these two teams meet.
