Free Agent forward Josh Bailey would be a huge asset to the Pittsburgh Penguins. In my opinion, Bailey would indeed be a good fit for the team.

The Type of Game that Bailey Plays

Josh Bailey has proven to be a talented winger in the past. He is a seasoned vet at the NHL level and analysts from the Hockey News' believe that he may be a good fit for the Penguins. Due to his third to second-line scoring ability, he may complement the Penguins roster.

His play style is a speedy type of winger, who on the fly can handle the puck and create opportunities to help his team. The previous team he played for was the New York Islanders, before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks. Who had bought out his contract during this previous offseason. He is currently an unrestricted free agent

Playing for the New York Islanders, especially under Lane Lambert, Josh Bailey learned various ways to improve his game on both sides of the ice.

The Pittsburgh Penguins need for a consistent winger

The Penguins need a consistent winger, who could play the puck and assist his team. Pittsburgh currently lacks the depth-scoring GM Kyle Dubas was hoping for, when he made the signings back in June.

Mostly, they were one-year deals.

Pittsburgh should be optimistic about giving forward Josh Bailey a chance.
