Matt Barzal makes a major statement on Sidney Crosby
Nowadays, the newer generations tends to look up to the players who are most impactful in todays NHL, such as Connor Mcdavid of the Edmonton Oilers, Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs or Nathan Mackinnon, but this year, the Pittsburgh Penguins captain has gained even more respect to his name in his decorated career, after going to his 5th NHL All Star Game.
Barzal shows Crosby some love
In an interview, Matt Barzal was asked about Sidney Crosby and his production at his age of 36. He stated:
he's the crispiest hockey player of all time. His passing, skating, vision, puck protection, everythingHe could be this way five years from now. He's got the Lebron effect, where age doesn't really matter. He's always going to be one of the best players in the league.
Matt Barzal absolutely giving Crosby the respect he deserves despite being divisional rivals.
