Penguins Insider calls out Erik Karlsson for his Poor Play

After a monstrous season with San Jose flying in offensive production and winning the Norris trophy, Erik Karlsson isn't living up to those standards in his new team. In fact, Pittsburgh Insider expressed his frustration in a recent tweet.

Karlsson's decline in offensive production

Erik Karlsson is definitely not putting up the points he did last year. Last season Erik Karlsson got 100 points with the struggling San Jose Sharks. This season the Swede defenseman has 29 points in 40 games, on pace for 59 points. The Penguins will need more from him in the coming stretch.

No need to panic, there's still time

When you pull off a blockbuster trade and the player involved is not producing to his standard, it's normal for fans to hit the panic button.
