Penguins Score 4 Straight in a Thrilling Comeback Victory over the Bolts
After a period of frustration for Penguins fans, last night's game was a real feel good victory. Let's enjoy it.
Penguins Battle Back to Weather the Storm
After getting out to a slow start, the Penguins were able to battle back and get the win, defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2. The comeback was led by no other than Sidney Crosby who scored a spectacular breakaway goal to move him 24th all time in NHL goals, video below.
Marcus Pettersson also made an amazing effort to defend the Penguins lead, where he batted a puck out of the air to save a sure goal.
The Penguins looked much better last night, a very well deserved win.
Tristan Jarry Steals the Show and Makes History
Ultimately Tristan Jarry was the star of the show tonight. While facing criticism from fans despite his solid numbers so far, Jarry got off to a rough start. However he turned it around and made 39 saves to keep the Penguins in it all night. He capped off this performance with an amazing empty net goal. The first in Penguins history and only the 14th of all-time.
The Penguins look to continue this momentum as they face Philly on Saturday, December 3rd.
