Promising Injury Update for Penguins Defenseman

The Penguins held an optional morning skate today prior to the game against the Florida Panthers.

On the ice was Penguins Defenseman John Ludvig, and what was most apparent was the color of his jersey.



Wearing a regular jersey on the ice is a good indicator that he could be returning to game action very soon. He is ready for full practice including contact.


According to Josh Getzoff, maybe Saturday against Montreal.



In addition to Ludvig, it looks like Reilly Smith also is wearing a normal practice jersey skating this morning.



This could be good news for Penguins fans with back-to-back games the Penguins look to get a huge 4 points before the break.
