Today the Pittsburgh Penguins have made a surprising roster move placing one of their veteran forwards on waivers.

This afternoon a shocking move was made by the Pittsburgh Penguins when they placed a well-established NHL veteran on waivers. Forward Colin White in his first season with the Penguins has failed to live up to expectations and is now on waivers.

The former 2015 first-round pick has failed to carve out a role in the NHL for himself this season. Now every team in the NHL will have a chance to claim him. If he goes unclaimed he will likely return to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton where he has played 21 games this season.
