Penguins forward Jake Guentzel was announced yesterday that he suffered an injury causing him to leave the game in their 5-2 loss vs the Florida Panthers. The Pens are now on a 3 game losing streak.
Guentzel out long term
A huge injury blow has struck the Penguins that may deminuish their playoff aspirations as Jake Guentzel will miss at least 4 weeks of action. Guentzel, is number one on trade bait boards approaching the deadline and may have had his value decrease. It is still unclear what the Penguins will do with him, but discussions may start regarding his future in the Steel City. The trade deadline has got a lot more interesting!
