In the Penguins vs Panthers game that ended 5-2 in favour of Florida, Penguins fans can smile for a bright side, a light at the end of the tunnel. One of their rookie defenceman has scored their first NHL goal!

Ludvig scores first in NHL



Penguins defenceman who was claimed off waivers, John Ludvig scores his first NHL goal against the team who drafted him, the Florida Panthers!





It hasn't been an easy path for Ludvig who spent practically his whole career in the AHL, this year he finally saw himself getting a huge opportunity and took it. He is well respected by his fans for his great defensive play.

At the start of the season in his NHL debut he got a devastating hit to the head causing him to be out for a period of time.

A feel good moment for the rookie!
