The Pittsburgh Penguins 1992-93 team remains the team with the longest winning streak in the NHL. Monday night the Oilers fell to the Golden Knights 3-1 in Vegas.

Chandler Stephenson's third-period goal proved to be the winner as the Golden Knights put an end to the Oilers' 16-game winning streak.

The 1992-93 team consisted of some of the greatest all time Penguins lead by Mario Lemieux. Who, as Josh Yohe reminded everyone, killed it only after two months of cancer radiation treatments.

The Penguins also took home a victory last night against a tough team in the Winnipeg Jets, with a 3-0 shutout.
