The Pittsburgh Penguins Target At The Upcoming Draft Accidentally Leaked By Kyle Dubas

Last night, there was an amazing goal scored by a defenseman in OHL game between the Saginaw Spirit and Brantford Bulldogs in overtime, causing fans to raise their opinions on a certain prospect. Not only fans however, GM Kyle Dubas of the Pittsburgh Penguins seemed to enjoy it aswell!

Dubas leaks interest in prospect

The amazing goal scored from the Saginaw Spirit was by defender and 2024 NHL draft eligible Zayne Parekh. Parekh, has 82 points in 55 games this year making him one of the highest ranked defensemen in his draft class. Kyle Dubas appeared to have liked the goal tweeted by the OHL, potentially showing his interest in the young defenseman.





The Penguins' first round pick currently belongs to the San Jose Sharks because of the Erik Karlsson trade, which is top 10 protected, however the Penguins currently hold the 13th overall selection which means it belongs to San Jose. Perhaps whatever they recieve in a Jake Guentzel trade, can be used to trade up and pick the Saginaw Spirit prospect?

It can be just pure fan girling from Kyle Dubas, who acknowledged an amazing hockey play, but a GM liking a prospect post speaks wonders, and with every right as Parekh will be an amazing NHLer in the near future!
