Young Penguins forwards join their respective national teams

Since the season has ended for both the NHL and AHL Penguins, players in the organization are free to represent their country on the international stage.

Multiple Penguins have announced that they will be playing for their national team so far in either the upcoming World Championship or the Euro Hockey Tour. This list contains Erik Karlsson (Sweden, Marcus Petterrsson (Sweden) and Jesse Puljujärvi (Finland).




However, it was announced recently that two more Penguins players will be playing in the Euro Hockey Tour. The Euro Hockey Tour is an exhibition tournament that acts as a preview to the World Championships. It begins in early May.

Radim Zohorna will be playing for Team Czechia, and Valteri Puustinen will be joining Team Finland.






Both players will have the opportunity to play for the World Championship team, if the leadership group deems them appropriate.
