Today the Pittsburgh Penguins got some positive injury news as a key player will be returning to the lineup.

Penguins Forward Returns From Injury

According to reports from Pens Inside Scoop on X, forward Bryan Rust will be returning to the lineup after missing 3 games with a lower-body injury.

Updates from Mike Sullivan:
- Tristan Jarry starts in Nashville
- Bryan Rust will be available after missing the last three games with a lower-body injury
- P.O Joseph is taking part in the team's optional skate. He's been sidelined for 10 games with a nagging lower-body injury

Rust is an essential piece of the Penguins forward group due to his versatility in playing with different players and lines. The Penguins received further good news that P.O. Joseph is close to a return as well after being out for 10 games with a nagging injury.

Hopefully, these returns can spark the Penguins and get them back into a wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference. As more updates become available on Rust or Joseph's return, we will provide an update.
