BREAKING: Friedman Reveals Expected Salary Cap Increase
Potentially Huge Salary Cap Increase
At the NHL's board of governors meetings this week, we were given an idea about where the salary cap is going next season. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reveals this in a tweet on Monday night. Cap estimate next year given at BoG is approx $87.675M
What Does this Mean for NHL Franchises?
If the league moves forward with this salary cap increase, it could make a huge difference to almost every GM in the league. The cap is currently set at $83.5 million, so this proposed jump would be massive.
More details to come.
