Big trade possibly shaping up between the Rangers and the Canucks
Multiple rumours have emerged since last week after former first round pick Alexis Lafrenière got left out a game as a healthy scratch by his head coach. Many are saying this is a sign Lafrenière is going to be dealt by the trade deadline, and one team has made it clear they are interested in his services.
The Canucks are reportedly interested in acquiring Lafrenière. Also, something would facilitate the trade between the two teams: Current assistant GM assistant is Emilie Castonguay, who is also Alexis Lafrenière's former agent.
Plus, the Canucks have made noise lately concerning the trade market, mainly about Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser, so these two could figure in a trade between Vancouver and NYC.
