Pittsburgh Hall of Famer passes at 72
Pittsburgh Steelers' legend Franco Harris died at age 72. Harris played with the Steelers as a running back. He won four Super Bowl and ran 12, 120 yards while in Pittsburgh in the 70's. Mario Lemieux shared a message to honor Harris on twitter:
Harris is the author of one of the most legendary moments in football history : The Immaculate Reception. He performed a catch and run off a deflected pass, giving the Steelers their first ever playoff win, an unforgettable moment for all Steelers fans.
We would like to present our most sincere condolences to Franco's family and friends. May his soul Rest in Peace. He's a Pittsburgh legend forever.
