The Philadelphia Flyers have traded 2022 5th overall pick Cutter Gauthier to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Jamie Drysdale and a second round pick in 2025.

Get to know Cutter Gauthier

Cutter Gauthier is playing NCAA div 1 at Boston college. The American has 22 points in 17 games with the BC Eagles. He reportedly refused to play for the Philadelphia Flyers.

Cutter's history with Philly

Cutter reportedly refused to play for the Philadelphia Flyers and refused to meet with them numerous occasions, most recently during the World Juniors. Cutter also refused to participate in the recent Development camp back in July. GM Daniel Briere has been reportedly working on a trade for a while now as he did not want to lose this prospect for nothing. In exchange the flyers acquire Jamie Drysdale, former 6th overall pick in 2020. The Canadian defenseman has 5 points in 10 games this season.

More details to come.
