One of the most exciting prospects in the Pittsburgh Penguins system, Brayden Yager, is currently in the WHL playing for the Moose Jaw Warriors in their playoff run. Kyle Dubas has teased about bringing in the younger players.

Yager and the Moose Jaw Warriors are battling for a spot in the WHL Championship. The Penguins 2023 first-round pick has scored 10 goals and assists for 20 points in 15 postseason games with Moose Jaw.

This triumphant effort helped the Warrior blow by the Brandon Wheat Kings and then the Swift Current Broncos in rounds one and two, but they now find themselves in a crucial game seven against the Saskatoon Blades.

The 19-year-old forward recorded six points, three goals and assists exactly which also includes an overtime winner in game one.

Brayden Yager impressed a lot in his first rookie and training camps with the Penguins last fall, he may enter next year's camp and earn a spot to play in the AHL or even the NHL.

Kyle Dubas, current general manager and president of hockey operations for the Penguins, name-dropped Yager on a list of players he expects to push for a role with the NHL club next season.

Before Yager can make that push, he will look to help lead the Moose Jaw Warriors to their first-ever WHL Championship and Memorial Cup appearance in the organization's history.

The make-or-break game seven between the Moose Jaw Warriors and Saskatoon Blades begins at 7:00 pm CST tonight.
