Head Coach Mike Sullivan Addresses Media After Embarrassing Loss in Calgary
Another Third Period Collapse Another Loss for the Penguins
After last night's game against the Flames, Penguins fans were left feeling like that had to be the worst loss of the season, for the 15th time this year. After blowing a lead in the third period and showing a weak effort in the dying seconds of the game, the Penguins lost another brutal one, and didn't even suffice a point for their efforts. The loss was reportedly a difficult one in the locker room. The Pens controlled the game for most of the night, but once again they just couldn't finish strong.Must read on Penguins Latest
Sullivan Talks to the Media
As he always does, Sullivan addressed the media with grace, but was clearly disappointed with the outcome of the game.
«We just beat ourselves in a number of different ways. We had complete control of the game, played a really good game up until that point, and we just made some egregious mistakes. It's hard to recover from.»
He's completely right, the Penguins had no business losing that game, but all we can do is move forward.
The west coast tour continues tonight as they face McDavid and the Oilers at home, I can't imagine this one will be pretty.
More to come.
