The 2024 NHL Draft Lottery is just one sleep away. While the Pittsburgh Penguins won't get the first overall pick or Macklin Celebrini due to the latest draft rules update, they can still land in the top five.

Tankathon lays out the odds in a nice chart for all 16 teams eligible to get and what percentages everyone has for each pick.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have a 3.2% chance at the fourth overall pick and a 0% chance at the fifth and sixth overall They are most likely to end up with the 14th overall pick as they have a 94.7% chance.

While 3.2% isn't a great chance at fourth overall, it would do the team wonders to bring in a young stud of a player, but they can still do that at 14th overall.

The Penguins are looking to do a real quick retool to surge back to their competitive nature at the tail ends of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang's careers.

As long as those three are in Pittsburgh, the Penguins should do any and everything to make a Stanley Cup Playoffs appearance. They haven't made the playoffs in the last two years, maybe bringing in a great young player will do the trick.
