Major Outlet Says Penguins Should Start Rebuilding Now

Bleacher report, a major outlet for sports and very reliable , made an article yesterday stating five playoff pretenders this season and saying that they should "blow it up" at the upcoming NHL trade deadline on March 8th. The Penguins were among the five teams involved.

In the article, BR went in detail explaining why and how they should blow it all up at the NHL trade deadline. Here is what they said about the Penguins.
Blowing up the roster, however, could prove difficult with 13 players carrying some form of no-movement or no-trade protection. Crosby, Malkin and Letang won't be going anywhere, but Dubas must try and convince some of the others to waive their clauses to accept getting moved to real playoff contenders.
Their best trade chip is scoring winger Jake Guentzel. Eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, the 29-year-old is currently sidelined until after the trade deadline but should still draw plenty of interest in the trade market.
