On Saturday Night, the Penguins fell to the surging Calgary Flames in a 4-3 loss. The Penguins blew a 3-1 lead in the match, which started with a Kris Letang turnover.

Tonight, the Penguins play again in a back to back match versus Connor Mcdavid and the Edmonton Oilers in a must win match with their season on the line. Coach Sullivan has decided to make some changes regarding the team's lineup.

Sullivan switches up lines

After Reilly Smith's lackluster of play lately, coach Mike Sullivan has decided to shake things up by demoting him to the second line with Evgeni Malkin and Valtteri Puustinen. Drew O'Connor has been promoted on a line with captain Sidney Crosby and Richard Rakell as an effect of the demotion from Smith.

Jonathan Gruden will get another shot on the Penguins third line tonight after gaining a positive from their heartbreaking loss. The forward scored his first career NHL goal in his first ever shooting attempt.

The Penguins will be wrapping up their western trip tonight and currently hold a record of 1-2-0 on this trip. The Penguins will be returning home tomorrow morning as they are set to face off versus the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.

Busy week ahead in the Steel City, with a potential of various trades, seeing fan favourites go.
