A game to forget for Tristan Jarry..
The New York Rangers were in town today to face off versus the Pittsburgh Penguins in an early afternoon tilt. The game ended in New York's favour ending 7-4. An exciting game for both teams where many players found them selves some success, but not the goalie of the Pittsburgh Penguins...Jarry pulled in game versus Rangers
A game to forget for shutout leader Tristan Jarry who conceded 6 goals before Coach Mike Sullivan decided to pull the plug and put in Alex Nedeljkovic.
The Rangers take a 6-3 lead just under five minutes into play. K'Andre Miller from the point through a screen... and with that, Alex Nedeljkovic takes over for Tristan Jarry between the pipes for Pittsburgh.
Jarry held a .739 save percentage in the outing and saved 17 out of 23 shots laid on him.
The defensive mislaps definitely didn't help Tristan Jarry's case tonight, letting in 7 goals is never only the fault of the goaltender but a fault for the whole team. The Pittsburgh Penguins have been a mess since the NHL trade deadline happened.
The team needs to get a grip together and try to bury themselves out of the large hole they created.
