Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is synonymous with outstanding hockey.
Now, Sidney Crosby had this chance to keep his season going by joining Team Canada in the IIHF World Championships kicking off in Czechia this Friday. Ye he declined, and made the right call.We don't exactly know why Crosby decided to sit this one out. It's not like he's shy about representing his country. However, Crosby's been busy lately with , 16 straight Stanley Cup playoff appearances. Although Pittsburgh has missed the last two years, and even if Canada could use Crosby's skills on the ice, he's got his priorities straight. At almost 37, he's defying age but even the greatest athletes have to respect Father Time eventually.
