The Pittsburgh Penguins are hosting the rival Washington Capitals tonight at PPG Paints Arena. This is a must win game for the Penguins if they feel they have any hopes of making a playoff run.

Jake Guentzel Appears on the Ice Early with Bryan Rust for Morning Skate



On Tuesday, we saw both Jake Guentzel on the ice early with Bryan Rust getting in some drills. This morning, Jake is once again skating with one of his linemates but this time, he is not in a non-contact jersey.

Seeing Jake Guentzel on the ice for the Penguins morning skate could mean that the star forward is not yet ready to be on the move or traded. In fact, Guentzel is out there in a normal practice jersey, which does not indicate no contact.

It would be an interesting turn of events if all the talk about Jake Guentzel being traded was for nothing. Could he possibly be staying with the team?
