Jake Guentzel and Bryan Rust Seen This Morning Skating Before and During Practice

Guentzel was on the ice with Bryan Rust this morning, both in a white no-contact jersey. They were working out together prior to the Penguins team skate.

Guentzel stayed on the ice to skate with the team as well, which could be a good sign that he is getting closer to a return. But, could this be the last time we see Jake in a Pittsburgh jersey?

Noel Acciari was the Only Player Not Expected to Skate Today

As expected, Acciari was not going to be participating in the skate this morning.

Also it looks like Matthew Phillips was absent from the skate.

Hopefully this is not the last time we see Guentzel in a Penguins jersey, but as the trade deadline looms over Pittsburgh, it may be the case.

The Penguins take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at PPG Paints Arena.
