The PWHL Is Set To Debut In Pittsburgh To Much FanFair From The Penguins
The Professional Women's Hockey League is set to make their debut in Pittsburgh on Sunday March 17th. The game is scheduled for a 12:30pm puck drop at PPG Paints Arena before the Penguins take the ice to play the Red Wings at 6pm.The teams and the league, both PWHL and NHL are excited to have this game in Pittsburgh. Kori Cheverie, the head coach of the PWHL Montreal team, when asked about playing in Pittsburgh had this to say:
The PWHL can't wait to come to town... and Pittsburgh couldn't be happier to host them.

The Two Teams Are Excited To Showcase Their Talented Players in Pittsburgh
Many players in the Montreal vs Toronto game are excited to be able to showcase their hockey in Pittsburgh with the support of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Laura Stacey of the PWHL Montreal team commented on the upcoming game in Pittsburgh:
"We can't wait for it. We've had some great games against Toronto. And to have it in Pittsburgh, a city that really goes out of their way to support women in hockey, it's a really special moment."

Last month the PWHL set a new women's hockey attendance record with a sellout crowd at Scotiabank Arena to watch Toronto take on Montreal.

Let's hope that the PWHL is successful in Pittsburgh and can hopefully soon expand into the city.
