The Penguins Make a Surprising Recall from the Minors

Penguins Make Roster Move and Recall Young Goalie

On Monday the Penguins made a roster move and recalled young goaltender Magnus Hellburg ahead of the their matchup with a division rival - the New York Islanders.

Hellberg has been very solid for the baby Pens this year posting a .901SV% and a 3.03GAA.





The reasoning for this call up was apparently due to one of the NHL goalies feeling under the weather, but HC Mike Sullivan says that it shouldn't be an issue.

However, there still is potential that Hellburg suits up this week, if either Jarry or Ned is still battling illness.
