The Pittsburgh Penguins released an official update on the health of their top forward Bryan Rust.
Penguins Announce Rust is Out Week to Week With an Upper-Body Injury
In a statement on X, the Penguins revealed that Bryan Rust will be out week to week with an upper-body injury.
This comes at a critical time for the Penguins, who are playing the first game of their four-game roadtrip tonight against the Canucks.
In the next five days, the team will play in Seattle, Calgary and Edmonton. Without Rust and Jake Guentzel, it won't be easy for the team to get points in that roadtrip. But if they fail, their hopes to get back in a playoff spot will be very thin.
