Insider Links The Penguins To An Insane Three-Team Trade Involving Jake Guentzel

As the NHL trade deadline approaches insider reports about various trades continue to increase. Today a report has linked the Pittsburgh Penguins to a wild three-team trade sending Jake Guentzel to a new home.

Guentzel Heading Out West In Massive Three Team Blockbuster?

NHL insider Chris Johnston has been all over different reports regarding trades today. The biggest report is centered around the Vancouver Canucks pursuit of Jake Guentzel. According to Johnston, Guentzel could be heading to the Canucks in a huge three-team trade.




Along with the Canucks landing Jake Guentzel they would also be parting ways with star forward Elias Lindholm. Lindholm's stay in Vancouver would be short as they recently just acquired him from the Calgary Flames.



If the trade does go down expect the Penguins to land several top prospects from a combination of the Bruins and Canucks. Recently it was reported that the Penguins expect to get a 1st round pick, a top prospect, and a young roster player for Guentzel.
