Tonight with his most recent goal Sidney Crosby has tied Wayne Gretzky near the top of a certain all-time goal-scoring list.

Sidney Crosby is one of the greatest hockey players in the history of the NHL. Tonight he is mentioned in the same sentence as The Great One Wayne Gretzky. With Crosby's goal against the Detroit Red Wings, he tied Gretzky for 7th most goals with a single franchise in NHL history.
And with this goal, Sidney Crosby ties Wayne Gretzky for the seventh-most goals with a single franchise in @NHL history.
Crosby will likely pass Gretzky in the next couple of days as the Penguins continue to play games. He will also have an opportunity to keep moving up this list as well.
