The Pittsburgh Penguins may be out of commission for the next few months after missing the playoffs but it appears they have remained active on the front-office notes as it was announced today that they have resigned forward Samuel Poulin to a two-year contract extension.

Sam Poulin has inked an extension with the Pittsburgh Penguins as it was released on the team's website. The deal is two years long with a 775k AAV.

The Penguins have re-signed forward Sam Poulin to a two-year contract.

The contract runs through the 2025.26 season and carries an average annual value of $775,000 at the NHL level.

Poulin, was selected 21st overall in the 2019 NHL draft and has yet to solidify himself as an NHLer with only six NHL games under his belt. We are almost certain he will see more ice time next season as the team looks to get younger.
