The Vancouver Canucks took a 1-0 series lead against the Nashville Predators on Sunday. However, starting goaltender Thatcher Demko suffered a minor injury in the game, forcing the team to turn to former Penguins netminder Casey DeSmith for game two.
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported earlier today that Demko was injured at some point in game one. Notably, he did finish the game. However, he also confirmed that he will not get the start for game two tonight, and he is questionable for the remainder of the series against Nashville.Hearing Thatcher Demko injured and questionable for rest of series
