The National Hockey League has sent a warning to the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers ahead of their Stanley Cup Playoffs game three battle later tonight.

After the game two shenanigans got way out of hand, the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers have received a warning to tone it down ahead of game three.

There's one thing we won't see tonight, and that's two major brawls in the third period. Game two of this rough series was one of the most aggressive and dirty games the NHL has seen all year, hence the warning.

Fans won't be going to a fight in TD Garden and watching a hockey game breakout. I'm afraid they're going to a hockey game in TD Garden with hopes of a fight breaking out.

The initial brawl broke out behind the Panthers net when they led the Bruins 5-1, and it had everything a hockey fan wants to see in a brawl.

Follow that up with a second brawl just a minute later added by a sixth Panthers goal and the seeds were planted for a major hatred for each other just after two games this series.

Not long after, David Pastrnak and Matthew Tkachuk dropped the gloves, but this fight sparked enough in the NHL's eyes to issue a warning, especially after Patrick Maroon told Matthew Tkachuk to keep his head on a swivel this game.

Game three will be incredibly interesting, especially after game two. The NHL might step in and hand out some disciplinary measures, but the players know how to keep it in the rules. TD Garden was built for Boston hockey, let's hope the Panthers are too.
