Crosby Expresses His Disappointment With the Team Play During the Edmonton Game

After their dominating loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday night, Sidney Crosby spoke out about his disappointment in the team play.

"I think we had a tough loss, and I don't know if we did a good enough job of just moving by it. I think that you got to find a way even when it's one like that, to move by it. We probably didn't do a good enough job."

Crosby Was Held Without a Point in the 6-1 Loss Against the Oilers Sunday Night

In a very productive year for the captain, he was held pointless in a losing effort, despite doing all he could on the ice. The oilers came at the Penguins hard, and Connor McDavid had 2 points (1G, 1A) in a dominating team performance.

Evgeni Malkin was able to tally the one Penguin goal in the game. Alex Nedeljkovic faced a barrage of shots in the loss, with 31 saves. The Penguins have now lost 3 in a row.

Edmonton Oilers Came Out Hot Against the Penguins and Showed Their Dominance

The Edmonton Oilers scored the first six goals in the game, which turned out to be plenty. They went up 2-0 early in the second period with a Corey Perry goal in a 3-1 situation. It was all Edmonton until the final goal was scored by Malkin.

The Penguins look to rebound against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night at home in Pittsburgh.
